The 2 nd type of puja can be performed as follows:

•  You will need Panchagavya/ Panchamrit and Gangajal in an achmani, along with offerings like peepal leaves, gangajal, dhoop and coconut to perform the puja
•  Sit facing east
•  Wash the rudraksha in plain water mixed with Gangajal
•  Place it on a copper plate with 9 peepal leaves.
•  Apply sandalwood paste to the rudraksha and offer flowers
• Chant: AUM Namaha Shivay, Aum Hreem Namaha’ 108 times.
