•  Take a scoop of sandalwood paste and apply gently on the 7 mukhi rudraksha
•  Next, use agarbatti or kapur and wave it in a circular motion around the place
•  Dedicate white flowers to it
•  Lastly, touch the rudraksha to a shivling or photo of Lord Shvia, chanting 'Om Namah Shivaya' 11 times.
•  Before beginning, sit facing eastward
•  With a handful of Gangajal, clean the rudraksha gently
•  Place it on a copper plate with 9 peepal leaves
•  Make an offering of white flowers and apply sandalwood paste to it
